Barcroft Academy has achieved the Leaders in Safeguarding accreditation. Our report highlights that Barcroft Academy demonstrates a strong and effective safeguarding culture, underpinned by clear leadership, well-defined accountability, and confident decision-making. Staff are highly vigilant, routinely identifying and reporting even minor concerns, ensuring early intervention and a proactive approach to keeping pupils safe. Safeguarding leaders work effectively with external partners and governance structures, providing robust oversight and child-centred decision-making. These arrangements have a highly positive impact, ensuring pupils feel safe, supported and able to thrive.

Inclusive Attendance Bronze Standard

We are proud to have achieved the Inclusive Attendance Bronze Standard, recognising our commitment to promoting positive attendance through a supportive, inclusive and child-centred approach.

At Barcroft Academy, we believe that every day in school matters. We work closely with pupils, families and external partners to remove barriers to attendance, ensuring every child feels welcomed, valued and able to thrive.
